Little City + The Green Loop

For the first time, Little City will venture outside the Granary District. This year, we will be part of Salt Lake City's Green Loop. Eventually, the Green Loop will be a 5.5-mile linear park covering 60 acres. This summer, the temporary demonstration project will run along 200 East between 300 and 400 South for about six weeks. Much of the Little City experience will be the same with Saturday Evenings at the Green Loop — a beer garden (cocktails and wine too) run by RoHa Brewing, live music, food trucks, more seating, and nearly 200 trees. There will also be Locally Made, Locally Played Wednesday night concerts presented by The Blocks, daily food truck options, classes by the Salt Lake City Public Library, and other events—all of which are free, open to the public, and all ages. Saturday night events begin May 6 and run through June 10. The Friends of The City Library will also operate a bookstore in one of the container storefronts.
